Lisa has been an ESL Teacher, an Educational & Academic Coordinator living & working around the world for over the past Through these experiences she learned to live with all kinds of people from all backgrounds & cultures, also learning several languages herself on the way. She is fluent in English, French & Spanish. She came to Montreal over 8 years ago & 5 years ago started studying & practicing natural & alternative health & medicine. She set up in 2005 Going Beyond her own Natural & Alternative Health Consultation Business & this year 2007 the Going Beyond School. She has been studying Native Indian Shamanism for 3 years at the Institute of Contemporary Shamanic Studies in Toronto since 2004. She set up the Shamanic Drum Team here in Montreal in 2006. She started studying Luo Han Qi Gong & Kajukenbo (a Polynesian Martial Art) four years ago. When her Qi Gong Master left Montreal she decided to share her knowledge with others & this lead to the setting up of the Going Beyond School. She is an instructor of Qi Gong at the YMCA & she also teaches the Rainbow Sun Qi Gong to Seniors at the Montifiore Residence here in Montreal. She set up “The Amazons” a women’s circle in 2006 to provide a space for all women to share, learn & have fun together so they can heal & evolve. Her present project is to set up Wellness & Health Programs to offer to companies “In House.” Lisa is extremely dynamic & always looking for & implementing new workshops, programs, activities & events. She plans to become an institution in Canada & to take her business worldwide. |
